Privacy Policy
Last updated: 16 October 2026
VibeToolRank ("we", "us") runs vibetoolrank.com, an independent ranking of AI tools for indie developers and vibe coders. This policy explains what personal information we handle and how.
What we collect
- Newsletter: your email address, only if you subscribe. Signup uses double opt-in: you're subscribed only after you click the link in the confirmation email. We use your email only to send the weekly tested-tools email and messages about your subscription.
- Technical request data: like any website, our hosting provider processes request data such as your IP address, browser user agent and the time of the request in order to deliver and protect the site.
We don't run accounts, comments or contact forms on the site, and our own code doesn't add analytics tracking or set cookies.
Service providers (processors)
- Kit (kit.com) stores newsletter subscribers and sends the emails. The signup form is Kit's embedded form; it loads from Kit's servers, may store an identifier in your browser, and may show a Google reCAPTCHA check to block spam signups. Kit tracks email opens and link clicks for delivery statistics. See Kit's privacy policy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site (Cloudflare Pages), serves our DNS and forwards email sent to our address. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
These providers may store and process data outside Australia, including in the United States. We do not sell or rent personal information.
Retention
We keep your email address while you're subscribed. If you unsubscribe, you stop receiving emails; you can also ask us to delete your record entirely. Hosting providers keep technical logs under their own retention policies.
Unsubscribing
Every email contains a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, by emailing [email protected]. We'll respond within 30 days.
Australia: we aim to handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you're not satisfied with our response to a privacy complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
EU/UK visitors: we process your email on the basis of your consent (double opt-in), which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. You can request access, correction, deletion or a copy of your data, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
We'll post any updates on this page with a new "last updated" date.
